Our high quality woven shade tarps are great for privacy, UV protection, and general protection of material, plants, and items that need respite from the elements such as greenhouses.  

Woven shade cloth is made from interlacing threads in a crisscross uniform pattern which provides strength and helps maintain the shape of the tarp.  Woven shade tarps have a tight, high density, weave making them excellent for UV protection.  Likewise because of its dense weave, woven shade cloth has less air and water permeability than knitted shade cloth.  These attributes make it ideal for applications where you need additional protection from wind and elements. They are sewn with a heavy duty double stitching all around the hem.  Woven shade clothes are made from polypropylene and are heavier and typically more durable than our knitted shade cloths.  They have high tensile strength and hold up well to stress and deformation due to weight. 

Our woven shade tarps are available in the following shade %'s: 30%, 47%, 55%, 63%, 73%, and 80%.

The tarps are custom sewn to your size specifications, typically with grommets every 2'.

Woven shade cloth, in comparison to our knitted shade cloth, is stiffer and generally used in applications that are meant to be longer term such as privacy screening and permanent agricultural/greenhouse applications.  For more seasonal applications that require putting up and taking down, consider our knitted shade cloth.  While woven cloth typically provides more UV protection and overall durability, if it gets a hole it will not hold up as well as the knitted shade tarp.
