Frost protection fabrics are effective, easy to use fabrics that provide warmth for plants, trees, shrubs, and other agricultural uses.
This row cover / germination blanket provides much of the same benefits as our 1.5oz frost fabric and 2.5oz frost fabric but in a lesser weight. This fabric is excellent for row germination and most any general plant protection needs.
This fabric is made of 100% polypropylene fibers and creates a micro heating environment for seed germination and seedling growth. It will substantially increase your seed germination rate compared to using straw. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13.
