Our knitted shade cloth is a high-quality, flexible, and versatile fabric perfect for residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and greenhouse applications.  

Knitted shade cloth is made by looping threads together or knitting them, which delivers a stretchy, flexible cloth that has more give than woven shade cloth.   In comparison to woven shade cloth, knitted shade cloth typically can be put up and taken down more easily, such as in seasonal greenhouse applications.  It is also more suitable for covering odd shaped or rounded structures where less rigidity and conformity to special shapes is required.  Knitted shade cloth is designed to be run, tear, and fray resistant if cut or damaged. 

Knitted shade cloth is made from pvc-uv protection fibers for exceptional durability in outdoor applications.  It is water permeable but will reduce wind.  With that said, it has greater air and water permeability than woven shade cloth also making it ideal for applications that require a good level of ventilation.  In terms of shade, it knitted shade cloth provides a diffused shading effect which woven provides a uniform and denser shade.   The diffused shading provides subtle light filtering ideal for plant nurseries that require sun penetration but at a filtered level.  

Knitted shade cloth is available in 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, & 90% black fabric.
